Karen Druziako is the visionary behind Be Happy Dream Big, combining heartfelt compassion with purposeful leadership. With a background in trauma-informed care and community engagement, Karen has created a movement that delivers not just DreamBoxes, but dignity, healing, and joy to children in need.

Charlie Curcio is a seasoned executive and transformational leader with decades of experience driving innovation, operational excellence, and digital strategy across the financial services and technology sectors. With a distinguished career spanning leadership roles at AXA/Equitable, MetLife, and other top-tier institutions, Charlie brings unmatched insight and strategic thinking to the board of Be Happy Dream Big.Now retired, Charlie continues to apply his expertise and passion for community empowerment through nonprofit involvement. His inspiration for nonprofit work was sparked during his time at AXA/Equitable, where he was actively engaged with the company’s credit union and its mission to serve others with integrity and care. Charlie’s academic and executive education—from Adelphi University to Executive Programs at Wharton School, Harvard Business School, and the Center for Creative Leadership—reflects his lifelong dedication to learning, leadership, and creating lasting impact.
