Be Happy Dream Big is a nonprofit initiative dedicated to nurturing hope, healing, and creativity in children through the power of The DreamBox. Founded by Karen Druziako, a passionate advocate for child well-being, the organization operates on a simple yet profound belief: every child deserves the chance to dream—and be reminded that they matter.
What started as a vision to bring a smile to one child has now grown into a heartfelt movement across communities, schools, hospitals, shelters, and youth organizations. We reach out to children in need with handmade DreamBoxes filled with motivational prompts, writing materials, crafts, and inspirational notes to encourage emotional healing, creativity, and joyful self-expression.
To inspire hope and emotional growth in children by delivering DreamBoxes that encourage dreaming big, thinking creatively, and healing through expression.
A world where every child—regardless of their circumstance—feels seen, valued, and empowered to imagine a better future.
Karen Druziako, founder of Be Happy Dream Big, created the DreamBox concept after witnessing the emotional struggles of children facing difficult life circumstances—from illness to poverty and trauma. Having survived a life-threatening illness herself, Karen understands the importance of emotional support and the power of small gestures that spark big change. Each DreamBox is crafted with love and care—delivered by hand or shipped across the country and the world—to children in hospitals, rehab centers, group homes, shelters, Schools or wherever a little encouragement is needed. It is not just a box, it is a message of love, hope, and belief.
A 4×6 inch kit filled with tools for expression: journals, drawing prompts, colorful pens, stickers, and uplifting quotes. Designed to help children reflect, imagine, and grow.
We collaborate with schools, hospitals, youth centers, and rehabilitation programs to reach as many children as possible. Our growing volunteer network hand-assembles and distributes DreamBoxes worldwide.
We organize community events, donation drives, and school outreach programs that bring people together to share love, joy, and hope.
